If in the morning when you wake, If the future is unclear, I will be here. As sure as seasons were made for change, Our lifetimes were made for years, I will be here. I will be here, And you can cry on my shoulder, When the mirror tells us we're older. I will hold you, to watch you grow in beauty, And tell you all the things you are to me. We'll be together and I will be here. I will be true to the promises I've made, To you and to the one who gave you to me.

And these are just the first paragraphs of the book - wait till you get a hold of the whole book Thank you Jas for recommending this book - I admit I already had this one on my Kindle, but it wasn't on my priority list. But hey, it was short and I decided to forgo my list for a while, and insert this one. I wasn't disappointed. Autumn Doughton proved to be an exceptional author who writes the perfect words in metaphor or not in depicting emotions whether it is good or bad. You dump yard waste and old ripped couches that smell like body odor and forgetfulness.

You dump cigarette butts and banana peels and hazardous waste. But people?

And the hardest thing was that- she didn't saw it coming. They were not having any problems at all well, nothing she knew of and suddenly, here was her boyfriend ex trying to break up with her in a steak house over fries. Now she starts from scratch: no more cool boyfriends, her used to be friends were non-existent and she got the biggest surprise of her life when she finally realized why Dustin broke up with her.

Good thing she has old friends who easily forgives and forgets. Laney, the friend she forgot when she became Dustin's girl came to the rescue along with others. They were her savior after the whole school has been treating her like she has leprosy. I also adore her mother, who tried ALL the time to reach out to her, trying to be there when she needed the most. It took a while for them to fix their relationship because of some previous issue. She went back to her previous passion: Art.

Something she gave up as well when she was going out with Dustin. And Alex, oh Alex. You were exasperating at times, lovable most of the time, and just frustrating at the near end. An old flame she wanted to forget - now here he comes back into her life: in a the most 'broken' time of her life. I love this book! I'm an avid YA reader and let me tell you - this book is one of those YA-novels that rocks! I'll Be Here tells a story of how a young girl with a broken heart picks up the pieces, found and loved herself, and finally moved on with life and love. It's a short read that's why I love it more , but even though it's short, I didn't find it lacking.

I was contented with the ending and was not disappointed at all. I'd recommend it to readers who likes 1 heartbreak, 2 moving on 3 family issues that aren't so heavy and totally dramatic 4 sweet but not to the point of mushy 5 Short but complete read. I don't have a lot to say about it, for once, but it was a cute story, with a cute romance, and a lot of likeable characters the ex-best friend who forgave Willow for dumping her for bf especially.

I'd have marked it higher but for a few things which were irritating. I got it, and of course fear and grief can cause all kinds of odd reactions, but still, it was more than a bit abrupt from distant view spoiler ["You must hate me! It would have been easier for you if I'd died! Big Stupid Misunderstanding, and it was an extremely high rating on the stupidity meter Misunderstanding.

Dec 05, Komal Kant rated it it was amazing Shelves: swoon-worthy-guy. I wonder if I hold Autumn Doughton hostage, will she write her next books quicker? Read this book. Read it. I love books where the two main characters had a past, drifted apart, and are then forced together. Willow was a great character.

I found her easy to relate to and she was likable too. Let's get to the most crucial element in the story. Alex Faber. Holy shit, do I love Alex Faber! He made me swoon and melt and swoon some more! I really love the way Autumn writes her male characters. She knows how to make you fall head over heels in love and pine for the guy. I went through numerous emotions while reading this book; heartbreak, sadness, frustration, swooniness, and at the end I was satisfied with the conclusion.

This is another great book from Autumn, and I can't wait to read more from her! Nov 10, Brittany rated it it was amazing. Holy smokes teen angst! In my current spell of YA contemporary I've been reading a lot of this type of book cheapo YA fiction on amazon and some of them have been great and some of them have been not so great and some have been awful.

I really liked this one. It took a few chapters for me to get into it, but once I did I was hooked. Alex was a world. He was an entire galaxy. A universe of possibilities.

"I Will Be Here For You" Lyrics

Yeah, she got dumped by her BF of 2 years and he straight up humiliated her , right before the pr 3. The breakup still hurts for Willow, though. Sparks fly, and her once her stagnant heart starts to beat wildly in her chest, once again. He was adorable and swoon worthy and just YES. Overall, a very clean, quick, cute, fun read. So when Dustin suddenly dumps Willow two months before graduation, she is shattered. To then find out that he had been cheating with her friend behind her back is an even bigger blow. As the days pass by Willow realises how much she had changed herself for Dustin, even what she was going to major in at college. And all the friends pre-Dustin whom she had dropped. Suddenly she is beginning to realise she needs to rediscover herself. When Alex Faber who is two years older reappears she is reminded of how much she liked him, when she was fifteen, and how that ended disastrously.

I cannot find any other books by this author, so I assume that this must be her first. It is an extremely well written story, with realistic characters and situations. I especially liked Willow she was bright, funny and sweet. The side characters are very well depicted as well. Including Willow's mother. The author really shows the different relationships that Willow has in this book, and how she tended sometimes to try too hard to be what others expect, instead of just being herself.

That is the underlying theme to this, and something that Willow at almost eighteen has to learn. A very enjoyable read. Nov 15, Alison rated it really liked it Shelves: teenage-contemporary , reviewed , free-on-amazon , high-school-bookish. This looks like a good freebie. Must read now! Summary: Willow James is having a bad week.

Wedding Reading: I Will Be Here By Steven Curtis Chapman

Her boyfriend of two years, Dustin, has recently broken up with her and Alex, her former crush, is now coming out of the woodwork. Willow goes through changes involving her life, her outlook, and even herself. Prosecution: I found Willow to be a little too wishy washy and Alex wasn't really explained as much as I would have liked. What made him tick, besides being jealous?

Перевод песни Al Jarreau - I Will Be Here For You (Nitakungodea Milele)

Defense: I loved this book. Serious This looks like a good freebie. Seriously, I did. It is free on amazon, is well written, little to none grammatical errors, and a great flow. The authors flow is smooth and the story moves easily along. The characters are likable and they interact easily with each other. To read my verdict, go to From Bows to Books..
