The full-page illustrations are colorful and very descriptive of the text. The text is large for early readers. Some of the words are challenging, but there is also a pronunciation guide in each of the books. I purchased this book because my school has a high population of students from India. While they often share parts of their culture, this was a way for a class gr. I created a Kahoot! This book was a huge hit! I highly recommend this series!! While it is a storybook, meant to provide children with entertainment , this book also provides factual information about the county of India as well as the people who reside there. The story is fun; providing educational tidbits in an interesting manner.

The illustrations are engaging, and I appreciated the pronunciation guide located at the back of the book. I suspect most children, and their parents , will be grateful for it as well. My only criticism, and one that is easily rectified , is the error found within the pronunciation guide. This storybook has the ability to spark a child's imagination and it shows them a country outside of their own.
